Is poker rigged? Can a real poker pro come from the same path as me and you, from nothing to something, like an everyday average Joe sitting in his living room? But more importantly can you!
I have documented my progress, to date, I have went from zero to $1265.00 ..."Oh yea, I have the proof!"
One day I came across this article by Chris "Jesus" Ferguson. What happen is kind of amazing in my mind. Chris went from no money in his online poker account to over 10k, from "nothing to something." Amazing, just by playing online freerolls Chris has made over $10,000, and from what I can tell it only took him only 18 months to do it in. What does this mean? Can anyone be a professional poker player? Even starting with no money?
There are tons of low and micro limit buy-in online poker tournaments that return large paydays. A good example of this is the $10.00 buy-in, 50K guaranteed, every night at PokerStars. Last Sunday, the Two Hundred Grand Tournament featured 25,000 entrants, with $25,000 in cold hard cash going to the overall winner. Not bad for an $11 investment. Read more you can't afford not to play at that price.
This is easy... I think I am going to make much more than 10k! Playing low-limit buy-ins is a easy low stress way to spend your afternoon retuning large profits month after month! For under 100 bucks you can play for prize money that is anywhere from $1000 - $40,000 for first place. How can you lose?
I am posting my results for everyone to see. I think people are throwing away their money on-line and don't care. Sometimes their actions are frustrating. In fact you will see you do win over the long run!
Chris is looking at this as a long-term venture. If you are going to try this on your own, it is going to take longer than a month or even two. If you are going to do it you are going to need to wait out your opponent. Chris is an excellent games player, often times it is easy to see the draw on players from the gaming world because it is much like an online adventure game. For example, take the online gaming communities, or the Xbox and Play Station players. It would be nothing for them to turn their interest to online poker. To them playing a game of theory and making possible money would be an easy challenge for them. Therefore, they work their way up the different levels of play, becoming the “King of the Mountain” and winning all the prize money. It is a cash cow!
Previously, the best way to learn a game was to go to a morning session of free game that usually offers a casino staff. Undoubtedly this is a good way to learn, but many people want to learn to play craps before going to the casino, or just want to play online craps from home. You could also say that most players would find it much more convenient to learn at their own pace and in your own hours.
What is the best way to learn to play Craps games? We advise you to read our Introduction, playing with our program to play for free. The Casino software features a craps game in which you can play for free.
This version is exactly the same rules, same game and just as likely to win as the version to play for real money. You can take this advantage to learn to play for free in the same program with which you can then play for real money. This way you set the pace with which you want to learn. Take all the breaks you want, and ask the questions you want

Daniel “Kid Poker” Negreanu has decided to challenge himself to take a $10.00 bankroll and run it up to over $100,000, exclusively through cash games on PokerStars. He’s starting at the $0.01-$0.02 micro-limit games and moving up when his bankroll allows it. Is this a new bankroll building system?
Read the CardPlayer article here »In reading the article, there was a couple of things that I found to be interesting. Daniel is going to do this in live action and from one cent, two cent limits. It is very challenging.
The first thing that comes to my mind is... "Do you think either on of them will do it under their own screen name?"
I am going to attempt to do the same thing and track the results, so you can do it also!
It would be interesting to know if Chris Ferguson played under is own name. Because I feel it would of made it harder for him if he did. Players knowing who Chris is may of played much tougher in lower limit games and in the larger fields. Also, the majority of players may of had a more carefree betting style. This would of made a challenging, but difficult environment to win in especially playing as little as 5 bucks in.
As a matter of fact, the hardest part of this experiment is playing in very low-limit games. Going broke is all the worse, back to square one you go... "I know the other players don't know, but its frustrating!" How do you win this war, a war of pennies! Read what happens in the> blog
