The path from nothing to something is here!

I get a ton of questions about poker, so I thought I would share some of them with you. I think you will find them interesting.

(Question) So, you play on-line poker a lot, what is the most money you have ever won?

(Reply) The most money I have ever won playing online poker is 24k. I won the money in a tournament on Christmas Eve. I started in it about 3 p.m., my wife and I where suppose to go to a party, she was pissed, but I won! It took me till the 4th of January to receive it. I don't play online that often. This is the reason I came up with this website, you put no money to risk, and so you have nothing to lose.

(Question) You said you play poker for a living? Is this still what you do for a living?

(Reply) No, as a matter of fact I don't play much anymore. If anything, I will play low limit buy-ins online. I feel like I can win the same money online in a $10.00-$25.00 buy-in tournament online as I could live for a $200.00 dollar buy-in in a live tournament. Most of the time, I spend my time now writing and working on my online business.

(Question) When you play online poker, how many tables do you play at the same time?

(Reply) I play one, two, or three, never more than that. I think I may have played four a few times, but it was an accident. I have heard of players playing up to 100 tables at the same time, but I have a hard time believing this. I have heard there are videos of it posted on YouTube, you are welcome to check this out for yourself.

(Question) Can low limit poker be beaten?

(Reply) Low-limits in general should be treated as more as entrainment. There are many issues that can be factored in determining if the game can be beaten. In my opinion a 1-2 no-limit game can hardly be called poker. Way more people are playing the game for entertainment. Keep in mind, to take a family of 3 out for a night on the town, can cost over 100 bucks for fast food and a movie. So you can see the general appeal for the game. You also have the casinos wanting to cater to more of the recreational player and really can careless about poker players. The payout's on tournaments are very flat, putting more money into losing players hands and rakes are very high. Overall, I would say that opportunity to make money is very limited in the lower-limits of poker.

-If you are looking for low-limits to make some money, look at the overlays in the online tournaments. For under 25 bucks you can make over 10K!

(Question) How much money do you think you have won over your life time?

(Reply) That is a good question; I don't have a reply... I guess it is fair to say that I might not be a winner in the game over my life time, also taking for account the side expenses. A good example of this is, if your company made a million in a year and spent 1.5 million then... Did that company make any money? Poker is a business venture for me, I am taking calculated risk for profit and have spent many times broke!

I am not trying to sell you a book. If you have played poker, then you have been broke on some level. Self control is what stands between you and all the money you ever wanted. Trust me on this, becoming a professional poker player is harder than you think. Just because you are playing poker for a living doesn't mean you making any money.
